The Kia Sportage, not as good as a Skoda Karoq but better than a Nissan Qashqai according to The Queen of car reviewers, Rebecca Jackson. That sounds good enough for us. But Her Majesty’s too-camera moment is interrupted by a male voice over. This is patronizing and sexist. Nevertheless, Jackson resumes the video review with her usual calm and authoritative approach.
However, the Sportage annoys Jackson in certain areas. The steering is jittery in a straight-line and the engines are not as efficient as say, a Skoda Karoq. But you have to be the right fit to own Skoda Karoq, that’s what Skoda UK told us.
But we do disagree with The Queen (Her Majesty), the Sportage looks OK, it isn’t as striking as say, being struck by lightning.
