Mercedes 2020 Sponsorship Livery Revealed
Mercedes has revealed it’s 2020 F1 Challenger, however, it’s not the Australia spec car. The 2020 F1 season is stable in terms of technical rules, the real sweeping changes will begin in 2021. Mercedes is the first of the so-called big teams to reveal their campaign challenger. This was more sponsorship reveal than technical. The reveal was held at the Royal Automobile Club in London
We do not know specific details, this reveal was a chance for Mercedes to confirm their staycation within F1. Long-term is the commitment and that is backed up with a newly signed 5-year sponsorship deal within petrochemical firm Ineos.
As for Lewis Hamilton’s future, team boss Toto Wolff is keen to complete contract talks with his star driver. Wolff has hinted at a “super money” contract. In real terms that so-called super money contract is worth a reputed £60 million GBP per year.
WARNING! There is a lot of boring “we like one another” sponsorship talk, the reveal is at 48 minutes into the video.
