Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon Sounds Like A Tom Cruise Movie, But It’s Just A Jeep
Auto News

We here at DCB are really liking the look of the Jeep Wrangler. We know it it’s going to be rough around many edges but it looks cool. We even considered having one as a long-termer but decided against it. For a vehicle classed as a mid-sized SUV it’s actually massive, bigger than a Range Rover for example. With the 2018 fourth-generation, Jeep kept the styling on the evolutionary path. Which is a good thing. To push-start the new decade they need sales to justify its existence. And now the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon is a new model edition that sits above the standard Rubicon.

The 2.0-litre turbocharged, 270bhp, 400 NM (295 Ib-ft) engine now features a mild hybrid system and stop-start. And it’s all allied to an 8-speed automatic transmission because why should you change gears manually, it’s 2020 for Pete’s sake… and who is Pete?

The 2020 spec sees a raft of standard equipment, entry-level versions get 17-inch alloy wheels with 33-inch mud terrain tyres, LED front and rear lights, day-time-running lights, fog, lights and various exterior paint decals, de[ending on model trim.
