Hyundai’s continued silence over racist behavior from deranged Chelsea FC supporters is a fucking disgrace. Fuck Hyundai for their continued sponsorship of Chelsea FC, a football club that is far too often linked to far-right factions and racist soccer fans. Hyundai should walk away as their reputation is being continually eroded by doing nothing. By saying nothing and hoping this current wave of resurgent football-related racism will go away is not the answer.

Hyundai has a PR department they can formulate a message… but they are fucking useless, comfortable and lazy in what they do, they sit around navel-gazing, are up their own arses full of shit and hyperbole hoping no one can see through a smokescreen of PR chatter. Hyundai HQ, take control, send a message to your worldwide community of customers of all persuasions and make it known that racism in sport is wrong and then walk away.

Why do you – Hyundai – want to be associated with this downward spiral that is not only dragging down the image of Chelsea FC but also your own? But I don’t expect anything to happen. They haven’t done anything before and they will not care to act now or in the future. Do they really think fringe neo-nazi supporters is a key Hyundai buying demographic?

Hyundai has the option to terminate their 4-year sponsorship deal of Chelsea FC. The club looks to be under siege from racist football factions. But they won’t do it because Premiership Football audience figures and coverage allows Hyundai to close their eyes and tolerate a bit of jolly good old fashioned racism. Good job Hyundai, now go fuck yourselves.
