OK, so this is a simulation of a battle that will never happen for real. And it’s a battle of the ages between the Bugatti Chiron and the 2019 Ferrari F1 SF90. OK… so the test is run on a simulator and Asseto Corsa is the PC based sim being used to benchmark this fantasy test.

If we had a choice between the console game/sim F12019 and Asseto Corsa we would choose Asseto Corsa every time. A console like the Xbox is kind of like a specialist in performing dazzling 3D tasks.

A PC is an all-rounder but to run such a sim you need a powerful gaming rig. Sure, a run of the mill desktop will do an adequate job but a desktop is way, way more powerful than a console.

The standard theory is the more powerful the PC the better everything will become. Smooth frame rate, sharper graphics, realism etc.

We’ve trailed off subject, anyway simulators are fairly accurate these days. The SF90 beats the 1500bhp Bugatti Chiron hands down.
