Global Warming? What Global Warming, It Ain’t So For The 6.6-L V8 Chevrolet Silverado HD

The Chevrolet Silverado HD is seemingly immune from the onset of Global Warming. The effects of global warming as we understand it, is bad for business. You have to meet these new emissions regulations. And it all costs billions of dollars. Money that could otherwise be spent on lining the pockets of corrupt politicians. Or increasing the pay structure of the corporate elite.

The Chevrolet Silverado HD is one such pickup truck that will allow the high flying GM executive to close yet more factories and offshore profits. However, the Pickup Truck is big business in the USA. Sales are booming.

The Chevrolet Silverado HD is immune to the effects of global warming. Any way global warming… the whole thing is just a conspiracy theory.

There is no conspiracy theory about the Chevrolet Silverado HD. The 6.6-litre V8 powered pickup truck is good for 401 bhp and 628Nm of torque.

The Chevrolet Silverado HD is also offered in diesel trim. The 6.6-litre V8 turbo diesel churns out 451bhp and a massive 1,232Nm of torque.

The V8 petrol is hooked up to a 6-speed auto, four wheel drive is optional. Meanwhile the diesel variant is teamed up with a 10-speed auto.

This power gives the Chevrolet Silverado HD an average towing capacity of 35,000 pounds.

On sale in the USA over the summer, the Silverado HD will be available in five trims.

Chevrolet has given little detail on specifications and equipment levels. That’s another press release away.

But we can’t help but think a hybrid pickup truck is a better option. Forget about Global Warming.

A hybrid has instant torque. Much better power delivery than a petrol or diesel.

That instant torque is ideal for a pickup pruck over what is a conventional analogue engineering solution.
