Virtual Reality gaming has been around for years. Back in the 1990’s, it was out-there technology available at considerable cost. Compared to the PlayStation VR, 1990’s VR looks as outdated as a space rocket is to a steam locomotive. Of course, as time progresses, technology evolves.
We now have consumer-grade VR that is far more sophisticated than the pioneering early days of the 1990’s. Nothing stands still, we understand that. Thanks to ever more powerful computer processors we now have state of the art VR experiences. Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Playstation VR. To get the best VR experience you will need a PC. The average desktop PC is far more powerful than a games console. So if you own a PlayStation 4 only the Playstation VR headset will work. But to process all that information you are going to take a hit on the graphics. But is the PlayStation VR worth it? Austin Evans finds out. Our advice is, with new technologies like VR always, always wait for the second generation.
