SAFETY
Safety is a concern for any motorist – but when your children are with you, it is even more so. Safety should come into every decision you make here. If another choice means reduced safety for you or your kids – then forget it. It is not worth the risk. It is definitely a good idea to only look at those cars which have the highest safety rating. Certain brand have higher levels of safety, of course, and you should try to stick to those. However, it is not just about what brand you use. Pay careful attention to the individual car as well – particularly if you are buying second-hand. You never know; there might be something wrong. Check it out before you checkout.
COST
As you have a family to look after, you are probably keen to keep an eye on the pennies. If this is so, then you might need to accept some degree of compromise at some point. After all, if you can’t afford the best, you are unlikely to get it. But that doesn’t matter. Even with a tight budget, you are sure to find a car to suit your needs. Part of the deal here is just shopping around as much as possible until you find a good deal. Remember, though: whatever you do, don’t compromise on safety for the sake of your wallet. This is the one area you must keep sacrosanct.
