London Motorshow Commissions Kahn Design To Create Bespoke Defender
Auto News
He’s made his living as bespoke caretaker of cars and as Kahn Design Ltd has established its reputation for becoming a “dream factory” (their words not ours) and catering for people who don’t just want to adhere to the limited choices offered by car manufactures. Kahn Design offers its customers a dedicated bespoke service, you want pink lacquered interior trim finishes then Kahn Design will do it.  This level of attention to detail hasn’t gone unnoticed by the organisers of next years London Motorshow who have commissioned Afzal Kahn himself to create a one-off bespoke version of the Land Rover Defender. So why the Land Rover Defender you may well ask? It has one of those industrial designs that never seems to age but Land Rover Ltd believes time has caught up with the Defender and production has now been discontinued with a all new new replacement due within the year. Kahn has stated that Land Rovers decision to retire the current generation Defender is an unfathomable decision. That hasn’t stopped Kahn Design creating one-off bespoke creations of the Defender or as they brand it the Defender Chelsea Wide-Truck. Afzal Kahn will ask the British public to collaborate on the one-off show car by asking members of the public to submit suggestions via social media using the hashtag #UltimateDefender, with lucky fans being invited to see the Ultimate Defender, complete with the winning suggestions, when the vehicle is unveiled and offered for sale at The London Motor Show 2016. The 2016 London Motorshow is scheduled to occur between May  5th – 8th May 2016  Afzal-Kahn-Defender-London-Motorshow
