Like Tesla YouTube woman is claiming to build the world’s first Tesla Pickup Truck. But it isn’t a Tesla Pickup Truck. It’s a Ford F150, gutted and ready to be fitted with a Tesla Model S EV powertrain. Like Tesla YouTube woman visits Seloc Electric Car Engineering (somewhere in jerk water USA) to see how the company converts a Ford F150 into a pure electric EV.
Seloc Engineering uses a 90 kWh Tesla battery pack with 7,104 individual battery cells. The battery holds the equivalent of 2.5 gallons of gasoline (petrol) but has a range of 300 miles.
The only issue is, that due to this Pickup being a modification, it is not possible to use Tesla electric car supercharger network… DOH! and double DOH!
The cost of this private project cost the client $150,000.
