Carwow Tests The King of Cool Jeep Wrangler, But Is It Any Good?
Video

Our internet trolling of Mat Watson and Carwow is at an end. We are determined to pirouette into a serious car publishing blog type thing. After all Jeff Bezos, the dog and next-door neighbour’s cat, (and Carwow) our daily readership, deserves better. This time out Mat Watson is reviewing the Jeep Wrangler, we think it’s one of the coolest-looking SUVs on the market. And it’s available to buy in the UK.

The entry-level Jeep Wrangler starts at £46,000 which is rather expensive considering we have a “special relationship” with the USA. That is to say, you would expect our USA buddies to give us fairer trade terms. That will never happen deal or no deal.

But the Jeep Wrangler has a problem, for £45,000 you have the Range Rover Velar in your sights. But if the Velar’s reliability is a worry for you why not pay just a little extra for the Mercedes GLE SUV, starting at £55,000.

Or what about the BMW X5 it starts at just £2k more than the Mercedes GLE. So the Jeep Wrangler has a problem, you can get better if you are prepared to pay, not too much more extra.
