No is the answer, the Kukkiwon Taekwondo Team are not faster than a car but they do share similar characteristics. They seemingly feel no pain, like an inanimate object. And they have seemingly fast accelerative abilities… like an inanimate object powered by an inanimate mechanical machine. Which is technically not inanimate because a piston engine has many moving parts.

So that begs the question is a piston engine a sentient being? No. However, The Kukkiwon Taekwondo Team are a collective sentient being with faster reactions than a Volkswagen Tiguan. The Slow Mo Guys visit Korea to witness a demonstration of Taekwondo.

Korea is the birthplace of Taekwondo and the Kukkiwon clan perform this ancient martial art at the highest level. They are like a high-performance vehicle. Be prepared to be amazed… in slow-mo.

OK so I know it’s not car-related but we tried to do our best to make it appear relatable with a car, hence acceleration, inanimate object, sentient being etc. It’s just a great video to watch.
