SsangYong Korando The Next, Next, Next, Next Generation Is Da House
Auto News

Yes I know we are using Anglo-Saxon language dating back to the early 2000s, a time when white culture was trying appropriate black culture. To make it more palatable for the middle-classes. As always is the case. But the all new Korando is in da-house… mon. The new SsangYong Korando SUV is the fourth-generation model to carry the name and follows on from the SIV-2 design concept first seen at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016.

The SUV features a new-look throughout with a distinctive new grille and headlight treatment. The interior now offers better quality and a more premium feel, with enhanced driver assistance and safety systems along with state-of-the-art connectivity.

Inside, the interior is said to provide better head-room and rear seat space. A 9” AVN and 10.25” full colour LCD cluster with dual navigation provide all the information needed.

This all-new C segment SUV will be powered by new 1.5-litre turbo petrol and updated 1.6-litre diesel Euro 6d engines, with an EV to follow.

Longer, wider and lower than the car it replaces, the new Korando measures 4,452mm long, 1,870mm wide and 1,620mm high, and with a wheelbase of 2,675mm, one of the longest in its class for increased comfort.

Further information will be available at the Geneva Motor Show on Press Day, Tuesday 5th March.
