Richard Hammond Fails To Pull off A Scandinavian Flick, Barrel Rolls $1m Supercar
Video

Richard Hammond has been involved in yet another serious crash while filming a scene in Switzerland for The Grand Tour. Driving a £1m Rimac Concept One electric supercar Hammond was filmed driving through a meandering and picturesque hill top village. It isn’t clear why Hammond skidded off the hill and rolled down a steep embankment but it appears he was carrying too much speed into the corner.

The video footage showed Hammond appeared to pull off what looks like an attempt at a Scandinavian flick so that he would exit the corner side ways and nail that dramatic scene for the director.

Clearly Hammond got it manoeuvre wrong but it could have been much worse, Hammond was fully aware and conscious as he extracted himself out of the wreckage.

However moments later the Rimac Concept One burst into flames and if it wasn’t badly damaged before then the fire surely sealed the Rimac’s fate.

As for Hammond he was flown by air ambulance to a nearby Hospital, a checkup revealed had picked up an injury, a fractured knee.
