The Professor of Car Reviews Gives His First Lecture on The McLaren 720S
Video

He sounds like a professor and looks like a slim version of Wolverine before the steroid enhancements took hold, he is Henry Catchpole motoring journalist and reviewer of cars AND he’s British with a slightly loose stiff upper lip. If you are American and have not heard of this guy let’s just say he comes across as highly educated in the manner of his delivery.

Catchpole’s style doesn’t have the passion of some motoring journalists who deliberately whoop and holler at the slightest of things when driving whatever chariot they are tasked with reviewing. He, Catchpole, is more subtle but decisive in his deliberations.

We think of Catchpole as a storyteller. The way how he describes the journey from the city of Rome and into the nearby mountain passes while delivering snippets of the 720S’s performance is classic Catchpole. His style is considered concise with no sign of hyperbolic fat anywhere.

And in many ways, his review and final verdict of the 720S is similar to the way how he describes the McLaren 720S. Both may not display passion but it is there… you just have to go looking for it.

This is what having good grammar gets you. A drive in the 720S courtesy of McLaren. Good grammar is something we ere at DBC Towers don doo dats why we don du mccers much… GOD my back is killing me today!
